Enter your rolls frame by frame, exactly like on the lane. Strikes, spares, splits and fouls are all supported, and every frame is scored as soon as its bonus balls are in.

Tap or click a ball on the sheet, then use the keypad.
On a keyboard, type 0 to 9 for pins, X for a strike, / for a spare, - for a miss, F for a foul and S for a split, followed by the pins knocked down.
Arrow keys, Tab and Enter move between balls, and Backspace clears one.
Impossible entries, such as more pins than are standing, are blocked.
A game has ten frames. In each frame you get up to two balls to knock down all ten pins, and what the frame is worth depends on how you clear them.

A strike or spare borrows pins from the balls that follow it, so its frame cannot be scored until those balls are thrown. That is why the sheet leaves a frame empty until its bonus balls are entered.
A strike in the tenth frame earns two more balls and a spare earns one, so the bonus is thrown inside the frame. That is why the tenth frame can have three balls.
A strike, then a spare (7 and 3), then an open frame of 8 and 1:

Twelve strikes in a row, ten frames plus two bonus balls in the tenth, score 300. It is the highest score possible in ten-pin bowling.
Add up the pins knocked down in each of the ten frames. A strike adds the next two balls as a bonus and a spare adds the next ball. The score of each frame is added to the running total.
A strike scores 10 plus the pins of your next two balls, so a single strike is worth between 10 and 30 points.
A spare scores 10 plus the pins of your next ball, so it is worth between 10 and 20 points.
A perfect game is 300: twelve strikes in a row.
The tenth frame has up to three balls. After a strike you throw two more balls, after a spare one more, and every pin counts once at face value.
For a split, press Split (or S) first and then the number of pins knocked down. The ball is circled and scores like any other. A foul counts as zero pins for that ball.
